Hello there! I've been playing tabletop roleplaying games for over 15 years. I started with Dungeons and Dragons, Palladium's TMNT, and Legend of the Five Rings (1e) and have played many others since. I even gave D&D 4e a fair shake! However, a friend introduced me to Pathfinder almost a decade ago and it has been my go-to TTRPG since. I ended up taking on the role of GM and have been running games, often for multiple groups, since then. And in doing so, I've found something almost as much fun as making characters that I'll never play - making monsters that I can torment players with.
I've had some practice with it and believe that I've gotten a good feel for balancing my monsters, so I wanted to share some of the things I've come up with. Some of these monsters are original ideas, some were inspired by art that I found, and others are drawn from games or other series. With that in mind, my plan is to post a stat block, made using homebrewery.naturalcrit.com, for a monster every Monday. In most cases, I'll post two stat blocks - one for 1st edition Pathfinder and one for 2nd edition Pathfinder!
I will try to find the best art I can for the creatures I post, but much of the art I used is stuff I find around the internet and am using as a placeholder of sorts. In cases where I've made a monster based off of a franchise, I will likely use an image from that franchise and will credit anything I post. So I hope you guys will give me some critiques, like what I'll be posting, and are ready to have some monstrous Mondays!
