The barbarian shattered the last of the skeletal horde with a satisfied grunt. He turned to see his companions, worn but healthy and gave them a cocky grin that fell as the sorcerer lifted a finger and pointed behind him. Turning back around, he followed the gesture to a skeletal straggler stumbling out from behind a structure. Grumbling slightly, the barbarian hefted his axe back into both hands and stormed forward, noticing the strange armor the creature was outfitted with as he drew near. Disregarding it, he drew his axe back but before the strike could land, the creature fired into the air, causing the savage warrior to stumble back in surprise. As the bizarre beast glared down at him with glowing eyes before the cannons over its shoulders flared and erupted with fire.
I think this was a request because I can’t imagine myself choosing to do the revenant from Doom on my own, but I don’t remember who was asking for it. Hopefully, all of you dig it because I think I’m gonna save future tech-based builds like this for the eventual Starfinder Second Edition. The monsters of Doom can be heard to determine a level for due to Doom Guy’s power level in comparison to them, but the revenant is a semi-early monster, encountered in the fifth level of Doom 2016. As such, it’s a low-mid monster at level 7 with a host of abilities. Defensively, it has a high Armor Class but seems fairly fragile, leading to a low pool of Hit Points and it doesn’t have the usual protection afforded by flight because its Rocket Boost can’t be used for sustained flight. Its main purpose is to help it seek a safe vantage point or else rise into the air to unleash a Barrage. This is normally a smallish area of typical limited use area damage at a high DC, but that area is doubled if the revenant has the high ground – I just thought this was a fun way to play around with this concept. This has a short cooldown, influenced by the fact that it uses up the revenant’s salvo of rockets, which isn’t from Doom but rather a concept I settled on myself. I think this might warrant turning up the damage on Barrage a bit, but I’m always inclined to underbuild than I am to overbuild. I’d rather give something buffs than nerfs.
The revenant in Doom is equipped with homing missiles, which I sought to emulate with Prime Homing Missile, functioning akin to a metamagic/spellshape type effect. I felt like just providing a fortune effect wasn't enough, which led to the specific benefit on scoring a crit. His final activated ability, though it is a free action, is Rev Engines, which is meant to help emulate the revenant's speed and allows it to benefit a bit more from its speed. Functionally, this is similar to the inventor's Clockwork Celerity, including a flat check after using it or its jetpack malfunctions, preventing it from using it for a time. Its final use its jetpack comes in the form of Afterburner, a defensive ability for the revenant that can also potentially move it out of range or other attacks from its enemy or at least behind cover.
Pathfinder 2e:
There's actually a few differences between the revenants from the different editions. In particular, the PF1e's version of Rev Engines, its rocket rush, is a standard action to use but gives it the benefit of haste and flight for a whole minute - but needs what is effectively a flat check every round to maintain it. I used this option because it felt strange for it to be a free action in 1e and I needed it to have a bit more juice if the revenant was going to spend an actual action on it. I also had to further define the revenant's integrated launcher akin to the other integrated weapons of robots featured in Pathfinder 1e.

ENCOUNTER HOOKS
Scenario 1: The heroes find themselves in the midst of a demonic incursion and are driven into a barn or farmhouse, possibly alongside other survivors. As the heroes and others secure themselves, the demons send in revenants to drive them out of their fort by bombarding it. The revenants use nearby buildings, trees, and other structures to gain an advantageous position and rain down their missiles on the base.

The revenant was a fairly simple build, but I put together a fun little video for it that I hope you check out.
Have a monstrous Monday!
