I had only intended to take a break for a month, but due to certain circumstance, I am going to need to extend that time by another week. I have multiple monsters ready to go, but there's one other thing that I want to release along with it. I wanted to share what I've been working on in the interim though!
I've been building something I've been calling the 'Hunter's Handbook,' a collection of MH and similar creatures, each accompanied by a page of tips, feats or class features inspired by the creature, and gear based off of them. It's still quite a ways from being done but it's something that I'll be cooking on the backburner. Obviously, it's not something I can or plan to sell, but I do want to share it with people once it's complete, so I will figure that out.
Aside from this extra stuff, I am using this as an opportunity to update some monsters. For example, I was convinced that the anjanath should be a higher level monster and have adjusted it properly for this book.
While its feats will be scattered throughout the book, I did come up with an archetype that starts in the barioth and has other feats that can be found elsewhere. I like the basic concept of it, but I'm not sure on the balance of it.
But that covers what I've got going on! I will be back next Monday with an official MM post and something a little extra for everybody. Until then, have a monstrous Monday.
