I was driving back from visiting family on this past Valentine's Day weekend and the idea for this monster came to me. As soon as I got home, I told some buddies about it, set to work on the stats, and asked my good friend Daniel Larios to provide some art. I personally think he knocked it out of the park with this one and I hope y'all appreciate the art, and the stat block, as much as I do!

As mentioned the idea for this creature is vaguely related to Valentine's Day and was initially envisioned as a sort of anti-Cupid. I was originally debating between going outsider or undead for this thing but as undead are my favorite type of creature, I ended up going that route. I also really enjoy the backstory of how the creature came to be with it being undead. Very fun, and allowed for a very cool visual.

This was a fun monster to design and if I think ahead more, I might start posting some holiday horrors in addition to my usual schlock. I hope you all enjoyed this and can find a place for it in your games. And if you do, lemme know how it does! I did some testing of the creature and it seemed to function fine, but be sure to lemme know what you think!
Have a Monstrous Monday!
